Our production hub is in Johannesburg with Fibre Internet connectivity and Microwave backup. Electricity is via grid, generator and solar, ensuring the absolute minimum of downtime.
All work is backed up daily with offsite LTO’s providing another layer of protection.
Conference calls and Video Conferences are ubiquitous tools for any business these days. We rely on these for meetings and routine communication, but have augmented these with additional production tools that tailor these to a broadcast world.
We are able to host live, multi-party remote reviews via browser, anywhere in the world, allowing everyone to be on the same page, annotating content on the fly and discussing it in real time. Additionally, we are able to host VO recordings live across the globe and put clients in-touch with designers, viewing their screens and discussing work.
Connectivity is on par with our global counterparts, with our current lines allowing a 16Gb USB to be copied in about 15 minutes, which will be down to 10 minutes within the next month’s upgrades, with a 5 minute turnaround by the end of 2017.
